Finnish technology company Teleste has reported Q4 revenues rising 13.9 per cent year-on-year to €54 million with the operating profit rising 30 per cent to €3.5 million and the net profit increasing 87.6 per cent to €0.17 per share. Orders fell 1.3 per cent,
Teleste estimates net sales and operating profit for the first half of 2014 to fall clearly from the comparative period. Due to this, the company estimates that net sales and operating profit for the full year of 2014 will not reach the 2013 level.
Commenting on the last quarter of 2013, CEO Jukka Rinnevaara said: “Orders received were at par with the comparative period, but focused now more on cable network equipment and the related services. Successful deliveries in this area led to a clear growth in net sales during the quarter, and as a result, Teleste achieved its all-time record quarterly net sales. Performance of the services business, being one of the Company’s special development areas, showed a pleasant improvement.”
