AirTies Wireless Networks, a supplier of advanced wireless and OTT/IPTV technologies, is launching two new versions of its next generation Wireless Video Access Points/APs at the TV Connect show in London.
Targeted at both broadband and pay-TV operators, the AirTies Air 4820 and Air 4920 feature the latest 802.11ac wireless chipsets and simultaneously solve two of the most critical issues facing operators today: the cost of installing a pay-TV service and the problem of consumers not getting the Internet speeds they are paying for when connecting multiple devices in different rooms or on different floors.
According to Bulent Celebi, Chairman and co-Founder of AirTies: “Many pay-TV operators are now starting to deploy wireless technology to stream HD video to multiple TVs throughout the home. Wireless dramatically reduces the length of time needed to install a new service by technicians. In many situations the consumer can install the TV service themselves, totally eliminating the truck roll.” He added: “This new wireless technology coupled with AirTies Mesh is a real game changer. Not only will consumers see a dramatic difference in Internet performance in every corner of the house but the operator will save a ton of money in the process”.
