HTTV, Tvinci joint solution for primary screen

Tvinci, the platform for personal and social OTT TV, and HTTV, the technology and solutions provider for Connected TV, have announced a partnership to bring a personal and social experience to the home.
By using the Tvinci platform and HTTV TV Operating System, a joint solution will allow end users to take over the STB with their own profile using a companion device such as a smartphone or a tablet. Each household member will enjoy a personalised TV experience influenced by their personal interactions with the service.
The Tvinci OTT 2.0 platform is end-user centric and device agnostic, so personal preferences, history, settings and social networks can be accessed by any end-user on any device registered with the household account.
The HTTV and Tvinci partnership brings the user-centric, personal and social experience to the STB. Arguably the home’s most used device for content consumption, the STB finally be able to compete with the other screens in the home with a user experience on par with the companion devices.
