This collaboration provides TV/STB manufacturers, operators and end brand customers a rich portfolio of Smart TV apps and features. In addition to the premium content services such as Youtube, Hulu and Netflix implemented on MStar’s platform, the localized and international premium content delivered by Foxxum are all integrated in the platform.
Through the Foxxum Smart TV Portal solution, MStar customers are able to quickly upgrade their devices to state-of-the-art Smart TV products, including personalized content recommendation, global content portfolio, Second Screen scenarios, multiple user management and utilisation analytics. Due to pre-integration of a highly developed Foxxum application framework, all possible Smart TV functions including design customisation can be implemented directly and within a very short time, reducing development costs and time to market. Additionally the Foxxum Smart TV Portal solution provides MStar customers with an attractive venue to gain additional revenues based on proven monetization mechanism from end-user traffic.
