INSIDE Secure protects premium content for Snap

INSIDE Secure, a player in embedded security solutions for mobile and connected devices, has licensed its downloadable DRM Fusion Agent software to Sky Deutschland AG. Sky Deutschland will use it to protect premium video content delivery for its Snap online media service.
INSIDE Secure’s DRM Fusion Agent software is embedded in Sky Deutschland’s Snap apps for Android and iOS based devices. Snap is a new TV and movie OTT offering, available to existing customers as well as non-Sky subscribers. OTT refers to the delivery of video, audio and other media over the internet without being subject to distribution via a cable or broadcast satellite operator.
INSIDE Secure’s downloadable DRM provides the critical and studio-approved Digital Rights Management (DRM) needed to protect Snap’s VOD library. The library includes thousands of films on top of TV season box-sets, HBO library content, movies, children’s programs and Disney content. Snap is available on the internet, iPad, iPhone, selected Samsung Galaxy devices and Smart TVs.
