blinkx signs with Integral Ad Science, Nielsen

blinkx Media, the UK media platform, has signed a new international deal with global media valuation platform Integral Ad Science and Nielsen, global provider of information and insights into what consumers watch and buy.

blinkx Media will work closely with Integral Ad Science and Nielsen, to ensure the company continues to meet the needs of its advertisers in a quality, brand-safe environment.

In an initial review of media quality over a four-month period, Integral Ad Science has assessed blinkx Media to have an ‘above average’ True Advertising Quality (TRAQ) score of 882, across the Company’s primary owned-and-operated property,  Integral Ad Science developed TRAQ as a proprietary, quantifiable media quality measurement of fraud, viewability and brand safety.

Donald Hamilton, SVP of blinkx Media UK commented, “By working with Nielsen and Integral Ad Science we can ensure that the quality of audience viewing meets advertisers’ requirements every time and delivers consistent measurement.” Hamilton continued, “We believe that the entire ecosystem, from media companies and publishers, to brands and agencies need to be aligned and clear on measurement for the industry to evolve.”
