Trace Sports expands footprint in Africa

Trace Sport Stars, the sports entertainment channel, has signed a carriage deal with Montage, a new DTH platform currently operating out of Lagos, Nigeria.
The Montage deal increases the number of major pan-African operators carrying Trace Sport Stars to three, after DSTV and Canalsat Afrique. With the deal considered as key in the on-going expansion of the Trace brand in Africa.
Montage Cable Television is a single tier platform with plans to expand in the very near future. It has agreed to make Trace Sport Stars available across all package options on Channel 302.

The new deal with Montage continues Trace Sport Stars rapid global and African expansion which has seen the channel sign successful carriage deals with some of the world’s leading TV operators in over 100 countries.
