Vidmind, Verimatrix offer DRM-in-the-Cloud

Vidmind, enabling TV operators to launch a full blown OTT pay-TV service, has announced its partnership with Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services. As part of their cooperation, the companies will bring to market a novel DRM-in-the-cloud offering, which serves as a new component of Vidmind’s complete cloud-based OTT pay-TV solution.
The integrated platform has been deployed by TVzor, a new retail pay-TV operator in Russia, enabling the operator to cost-effectively deliver premium content over unmanaged networks in a highly secure and novel fashion.
