Following an extremely successful launch in London earlier this year, Quiptel are pleased to announce the integration and availability of the Quiptel Media Platform (QMP) solution with the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) revenue security platform.
The Quiptel Media Platform (QMP) represents the most advanced full service solution for all video operators around the world who aim to deliver both live and VOD services to multiple devices, across unmanaged or over-the-top (OTT) networks. The unrivalled combination of QMP plus VCAS facilitates the delivery of premium content with confidence, to new markets and devices (inc: 2nd screen, mobiles etc) previously thought inaccessible; opening up new revenue streams and extending the business opportunities.
QMP is currently being assessed by major telco and technology partners that are interested in using Quiptel’s latest generation of fully scalable Adaptive Transfer Rate (ATR) solutions; building on the portfolio of technical innovation and commercial expertise that the Quiptel team embodies.
“Quiptel has shown that Cloud-based TV and video services can now be delivered at a fraction of the cost of the previous generation of broadcast platforms. Our customers are also able to embrace the significant benefits of our Adaptive Transfer Rate (ATR) technology. We are extremely pleased to be working with Verimatrix as they add an important component to the QMP solution. Customers can now benefit from Quiptel’s extremely flexible platform, combined with world-leading content security from Verimatrix”, commented Peter Do, CTO & Founder – Quiptel HK Ltd.
“Quiptel’s approach to innovation and functional requirements for video delivery over unmanaged networks are well matched with our VCAS platform. Our integration with QMP enables service providers to take advantage of the fast expanding OTT video market in a fully secure fashion. Our joint customers can now deploy and easily scale knowing that they have the best-of-breed platform, now combined with our award-winning revenue security”, commented Petr Peterka, CTO – Verimatrix.
