TF1 and ITAS enter OneCast negotiations

The TF1 and ITAS groups have entered into exclusive negotiations with a view to the acquisition by ITAS TIM, a subsidiary of ITAS group, of OneCast, a subsidiary of TF1 operating in the DTT multiplex broadcasting sector.
An agreement could be signed in the coming weeks, once the negotiations have been finalised and the necessary procedures for the information of the relevant employee representative bodies completed.
OneCast supplies any technical services relating to the transmission, broadcasting, distribution, production, processing and reception of images, sounds or information of any nature. It notably offers coding, multiplexing, carriage and broadcast of electronic communication signals.
The main part of OneCast’s activity consists in delivering multiplex of national Digital Terrestrial Television to homes in metropolitan France, and in particular on the diffusion to the “main” DTT broadcasting network.
