ContentBridge wins EMA Digital Award

October 13, 2014

ContentBridge Systems, LLC has just been awarded the coveted “Industry Leadership” Award by the Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA), the not-for-profit international trade association dedicated to advancing the interests of the $35 billion home entertainment industry. The award was just presented to ContentBridge CEO Jason Peterson at EMA’s Digital Media Pipeline Conference at Skirball Center. The special “Industry Leadership” Award is being given to ContentBridge for being the first digital supply chain management company to comply with all EMA, SMPTE IMF, Cable Labs and UltraViolet standards. ContentBridge provides technologies and services that help major studios, aggregators and independent distributors meet their digital distribution challenges. The company’s best-in-class solution provides cost-effective ways to manage, transform and deliver media and metadata to all major retailers worldwide.

Other honorees included Disney (Innovation Award), Amazon (Digital Retailer Award) and the hit TV show “Breaking Bad” (Digital Content Award). This is the first time the “Industry Leadership” award has been given out by EMA since presented to Google in 2012.

“Mark Fisher (EMA President) and his team at the Entertainment Merchants Association run a world class organization,” says Peterson. “They bring together the entire home entertainment eco-system to solve real world problems which makes us incredibly honored and proud to receive this award. We look forward to continuing to provide world class software and services for the home entertainment market.”

“We are honored to receive this EMA recognition,” adds ContentBridge COO Doug Reinart. The EMA has been extremely active in helping to improve the connections between content owners and retailers, and ContentBridge has worked hard to create a practical implementation of their standards and recommendations.”
