December 31, 2014
During 2014, VSN’s solutions have enjoyed an important diffusion in key companies in Spain, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe, something that boosted the revenue by 25 per cent comparing to last year and that marks VSN’s 25th Anniversary.
More than 40 new projects have been won by VSN. Companies such as teleSUR (Venezuela), Roya TV (Jordan), Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudi Arabia), Telson and Dorna (Spain), Amarin TV HD (Thailand), TV Zimbo (Angola) o TV Cançao Nova (Brazil), to highlight a few examples, have trusted in the complete suite of broadcast solutions developed by VSN for managing their media, for solving their MCR automation needs and for adopting a wide range of journalist tools.
This year has also been special for VSN because the TV Academy awarded its Iris Technology Prize for its “contribution to the development of television in general and, in particular, in Spain, thanks to its complete suite of products for television companies”, that have been sold in more than 100 countries in the last two decades. Also, VSN has kept its dedication to R&D, taking part in important technological projects such as EUMSSI and AppsGate (European Union), or AEESD.
2014 has been the year in which VSN has implemented a new marketing strategy, focused on constantly improving quality and availability of the corporate information in internet and social networks, and an important redesign of its website (https://www.vsn-tv.com) aimed to make it one of the most advanced in the broadcast sector, with responsive technology, CSS 3 design, HTML 5 source code and HTTPS certification to protect the data of its users.
This new website offers a complete panorama of VSN’s complete portfolio of Media & Business Process Management, News & Live Production and MCR Automation & Distribution solutions, as well as an insight to its news and events.
The year that ends has also seen VSN’s consolidation as one of the most exciting exhibitors in the main broadcast sector trade shows, such as NAB (Las Vegas), IBC (Amsterdam), SET Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), Cabsat (Dubai) or Broadcast Asia (Singapore), with great numbers of visitors and contacts.
