DTG welcomes Roku, Asda

January 20, 2015

The DTG, the industry association for digital television in the UK, has announced Asda and Roku as its newest members.

Asda is one of the UKs leading supermarket chains and a major retailer of consumer electronics. Roku is a set-top manufacturer that has expanded business into a range of HD and Ultra HD TV sets with built-in Roku software. Both will now join more than 125 companies that as members of the DTG collectively drive innovation and growth in the television and technology sectors.

Richard Lindsay-Davis, chief executive officer, said: “We are very excited to welcome Asda and Roku to the DTG family. Both organisations have an outstanding track record in our industry and their addition will strengthen the collaborative apparatus of our industry body and support their own business goals. We look forward to working closely with them in the coming year.”
