HBO GO launches in Romania

HBO GO is now available to all the RCS&RDS owned Digi Net and Digi TV subscribers in Romania that have an HBO or MAXPAK subscription.
Digi Net and Digi TV subscribers have access to HBO GO on desktop computers, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs. The OTT service offers unlimited access to over 2000 hours of content, including HBO original productions, movies, documentaries and special programming.
Linda Jensen, Chief Executive of HBO Europe, said, “With the introduction of HBO GO by RCS&RDS, Digi subscribers in Romania now have a way to enjoy regular HBO programming and the entire HBO library on demand via a premium broadband platform; the great HBO series and top movies are available, together with our Romanian original programming, including drama series In Deriva, Ramai Cu Mine and Umbre, and award winning documentaries like Toto and his Sisters and Trading Germans.’’
TV series such as Game of Thrones, True Detective, Silicon Valley, Veep and Girls can be watched in their entirety on HBO GO while new episodes will be available to customers with access to the service at the same time as their world premiere. Content is refreshed every day.
