FOXXUM integrates XroadMedia’s Content Discovery and Recommendation technology

FOXXUM, a global player in delivering Smart TV solutions, and XroadMedia, a provider of content discovery and recommendation services, have joined forces to offer a complete and fully featured turnkey solution to device manufacturers and service providers for their Smart TV products.
This new partnership will see Ncanto, XroadMedia’s cloud-based content discovery and recommendation solution, integrated into FOXXUM’s advanced Smart TV offering. Feature rich user interfaces, a huge international content portfolio and the strongest local content portfolio in Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Asia are just a few of the advantages of the new solution. Unlike many other recommendation offerings in the market, one of XroadMedia’s key focus is to cut down costs for their customers to integrate and operate such a solution. During the operation of Ncanto customers do also have the choice to select, mix and match different algorithms and functionalities to achieve the best personalization results based on their business requirements as well as on their end user‘s habits, preferences and social graphs.
With the new FOXXUM Smart TV solution powered by Ncanto, device manufacturers and service providers can easily ingest their different sets of metadata, which then will be automatically analyzed, verified and, where necessary, enriched by the solution.
