Marvell and SoftAtHome Collaborate

SoftAtHome, a software provider of home operating platforms enabling convergent services for the digital home and Marvell, a specilaist in providing complete silicon solutions, have announced their collaboration for integrating SoftAtHome’s SOP7 software with Marvell’s ARMADA 1500 Ultra SoC Android and Linux SDKs.

The combination of the two companies’ technologies enables pay-TV operators to deliver a  4K experience to their subscribers. With its quad-core ARM A53 CPU, 8-core 51 GFLOP GPU and advanced power management techniques, Marvell’s architecture brings impressive processing power to the digital entertainment market.
