TVbeat launches TV analytics in Croatia

May 22, 2015

TVbeat, the next generation TV analytics company delivering real-time TV audience measurement solutions has launched their Croatian dataset to broadcasters and agencies in Croatia. The launch means that local and international broadcasters will now be able to track even the smallest of audience flows on their channels, empowering programmers, researchers and sales teams to make fact based decisions about content and program scheduling.

The complementary analytics service is capturing census data from their clients, the three largest pay-TV providers in Croatia – Deutsche Telekom owned T-HT and Iskon and Telekom Austria Group’s B-net. This dataset includes viewership data on a second by second level for all the devices for linear and on demand viewing from almost half a million households. TVbeat has merged and weighted this data to represent national coverage of pay-TV households.

TVbeat ensures that channels of all audience sizes are able to understand their viewing and support ad sales. For the first time, all broadcasters will be able to drill-down into content and analyse specific viewers on their channel in a single click. Through using TVbeat’s easy-to-use, web-based interface these broadcasters and many others will be able to accurately compare performance of channels and content, promotions, sponsorships and ad breaks. Very soon, broadcasters will be able to see and analyse non-linear viewing, live ratings and viewing on other devices. The granularity and large volume  of data collected facilitates high levels of predictability and creates leverage in content negotiations.

Ana Jelavic, Area Manager for Adriatic region at TVbeat said; “After collecting and aggregating data from the largest pay-TV platforms in Croatia, we are delighted to present the TVbeat tool with Croatian merged dataset to broadcasters and agencies. It is really great to see that clients can view their data from different angles, to see that they have audiences (no more zeros) and to view the bigger picture. I think this is a powerful, complementary tool for all the TV market players, everyone can find something useful for their business and use TVbeat for program or advertising planning.”
