Apple certifies Infostrada to deliver TV content to iTunes

July 8, 2015

Infostrada, a provider of video technology services, has been certified by Apple as an official iTunes Certified Encoding House for the delivery of TV content. This certification follows Infostrada being officially certified by Apple at the end of last year for delivering movies for iTunes.

Infostrada joins an exclusive group of worldwide encoding houses officially certified by Apple for the worldwide delivery of both movie and TV content for iTunes. Infostrada’s Digital Media Services department enables premium content owners, including major studios and distributors, to master and distribute their video content in a highly efficient and simple way to all major VoD platforms, including iTunes. With Infostrada’s web application, UpperEast, video content can be enriched with metadata, digitised from different file or tape formats, checked by Quality Control (QC), and localised into various dubbing and subtitle versions. A master is then created that meets platform specifications, including iTunes.
