icflix subscribers are watching more than 60,000+ hours of premium content every month, a number that is rapidly rising as OTT consumption continues to grow in the region, the company says.
Citing the strategic partnerships and unconventional methods of marketing, the MENA streaming giant reports it continues to grow from strength to strength since launching two years ago.
Carlos Tibi, founder and CEO, at icflix commented: “There’s an apparent trend towards increased viewing online, particularly amongst young people as they want uninterrupted viewing and want to watch what they want and when they want. They are also more inclined to leveraging their devices as their personal viewing instruments. As a result we have seen a big jump on access from mobile devices. Also with bigger content acquisition and original content production, icflix continues to grow bigger and bigger.”
