Ooyala: 44% of video plays on mobile devices

Ooyala’s Q2 Global Video Index shows that nearly half of all video plays and ad impressions for publishers occurred on mobile devices.

Since Q2 2012, mobile video plays have grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 111 per cent, with the share of video plays on mobile devices
