Legal online entertainment resource FindAnyFilm has confirmed that Amazon Prime and Amazon Instant Video’s catalogue of films and TV shows is now available on the service, giving consumers even more ways to watch content legally. Amazon Prime and Amazon Instant Video give consumers access to more than 15,000 movies and TV episodes on demand, from the latest box office and box set titles to Amazon Original Series. It is the first SVoD service to join FindAnyFilm.

FindAnyFilm.com is the only site in the UK where film fans can book tickets, watch, buy, or rent films from the UK’s extensive range of legal sources. Research by MediaTel and Ofcom found that 32 per cent of the UK population have watched a television series or movie from a subscription service and rising to 53 per cent of 16 – 24 year olds. This research demonstrates the need for FindAnyFilm to include subscription services such as Amazon Prime to the site not only to give consumers a complete experience when searching for their favourite film and TV shows but also because SVoD can be the gateway to experience digital content.

Amazon Prime Instant Video gives its UK based members unlimited streaming of movies and TV episodes. Streaming Amazon Prime allows users to watch video through their web browser or compatible devices including Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players or set-top boxes and mobile devices. Amazon Instant Video allows anyone with an Amazon account to buy, rent and instantly watch digital movies and TV on any compatible Internet-connected device.

According to Julian Monaghan, Category Lead, Amazon Video, Amazon Prime and Amazon Video is an easy way for viewers to watch their favourite film and TV shows instantly. “Including these on FindAnyFilm, where Amazon DVD is already listed, is extremely useful for consumers who are looking to find the content they want at a click of a button. It is really important as an industry that we work together to direct customers to legal sources,” he added.

Sylvia Wan, Digital Communications Manager, Industry Trust said that having Amazon Prime as well as Instant Video on board was great for consumers visiting FindAnyFilm. “More and more consumers are now using subscription services which give them access to all they can eat content. Services like Amazon Prime are a great way to divert audiences from illegal viewing habits by giving them access to a vast array of content at a great price,” she declared.
