RT and Ora TV have confirmed that legendary American broadcaster Larry King’s two interview programmes, Politicking with Larry King and Larry King Now will be broadcast in the United Kingdom exclusively on RT UK.

PoliticKing with Larry King, specially created for RT by King and Ora TV, will be broadcast on Tuesday and Thursday in the UK and will see King interview the most important and knowledgeable people in Washington and around the world about government policies and politics affecting an international audience.  The show begins airing on RT UK on November 10th. Since the show’s original launch on RT America in 2013, the Dalai Lama, Vice President Dick Cheney, New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, business icon Donald Trump and many other prominent political and cultural figures have been interviewed by King, discussing and analysing the most critical and controversial political issues of the day.

Larry King Now, also produced by Ora TV, will air three days a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The show will begin airing on RT UK on November 9th. It features conversations with some of the most interesting and intriguing individuals from the world of pop culture, music, sports, film and television.  King has recently interviewed guests ranging from Oscar-winning actors Russell Crowe, Marion Cotillard and Matthew McConaughey; to British personalities Cat Deeley, Boy George, Nigel Lythgoe and Eddie Izzard; musicians and rappers such as Celine Dion, David Guetta, T.I. and Wiz Khalifa; and sports legends such as George Foreman, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather.

King also talks to newsmakers on topics and issues facing society today.  Past shows have explored topics of religion, same-sex marriage, NASA’s search for life on other planets, the Ebola epidemic, major scientific breakthroughs, gun control and racism. In 2014, Larry King Now was nominated for an Emmy Award for its examination and discussion of head trauma in professional football.
