Ten Alps now Zinc Media

February 29, 2016

Ten Alps, the TV production, communications and publishing business, is changing its name to Zinc Media with effect from March 1st.

The change includes a complete rebrand and the launch of a new website. The company, which has undergone restructuring over the past year, decided on the name change to reflect the newly focused business.

Chief Executive Mark Wood said: “The name change is an important milestone in the reorganisation and transformation of Ten Alps and is an opportunity to redefine the identity and ambition of the company. This is now an exciting and dynamic media organisation which is focussed on growing as a global TV producer, communications and branded content business and a cross-platform publisher.”

Ten Alps was founded in 1999 by singer and entrepreneur Bob Geldof and evolved as a business publisher and TV programme maker. Recent television successes have included Murder Detectives, broadcast over three nights on Channel 4 late last year to critical acclaim, and the Panorama programme on Pope John Paul’s relationship with a female writer.
