March 29, 2016
ATEME has announced that Videohouse, a Euro Media Group company and the largest Belgian service provider in the broadcast market, has integrated the ATEME TITAN File product into its end-to-end file-based workflow service using IBM Aspera Orchestrator. Thanks to ATEME TITAN File APIs, Videohouse can now achieve a higher level of automation in their workflows.
TITAN File is a multi-codec/format video transcoding software for Live, OTT and File mezzanine, VoD, Post-Production, Playout and Archive applications. TITAN is easy to install, configure and integrate into any existing workflow, including integration with Conditional Access, Digital Rights Management, Digital Ad Insertion and Forensic Watermarking. It includes 24/7 automation and workflow capabilities and can be deployed on-premises and/or in the cloud.
“With ATEME TITAN File integrated into Orchestrator, we can now automate workflows that used to require manual interventions in the past”, said Yuri Landman, Project Manager at Videohouse. “For instance, it is possible to launch a quality control software immediately after receiving a file, and, depending on the result, automatically launch the transcoding process using the ATEME TITAN File transcoding software.”
“TITAN File is based on ATEME Fifth Generation STREAM© compression engine, and delivers the highest video quality at minimum bitrates with accelerated parallel processing”, said Christophe Deffontaines, EMEA Sales Director at ATEME. “TITAN File creates high video quality 4K-UHD and is now available with a production ready HDR support.”
