TLC saddles up for Katie Price’s Pony Club

TLC has commissioned Katie Price’s Pony Club, a brand new reality TV series starring Katie Price.

The 6×60 series, produced by Shiver, follows Price as she creates a pony club team like no other with her closest friends and their children including Price’s eight year old daughter Princess and ten year old son Junior. Supported by their fiercely competitive and outspoken mums, the novice riders take on the elitist world of pony clubs.

Each episode will see the friend’s children tackle a different form of riding, from drag hunting to show jumping, reining and dressage. They will learn their horse riding skills from the ground up, with the series climaxing as they compete as a team in a high society game of polo.

Price said: “I’ve not done a reality show for four years and I’m so excited to be doing this with TLC.  This really is a dream come true.  It brings together my biggest passions – my family, my friends and my animals.  Expect a lot of pink, a lot of noise, much chaos and a fair few feathers ruffled along the way!”

Price’s team is based at her family home in West Sussex which is mid-renovation and where she keeps her horses. With five of them, four goats, four dogs, three pigs, one rabbit, one baby hedgehog, over 100 feathered friends, five kids and one husband – all featuring in this fly-on-the-stable-wall series – Price’s chaotic household is more comparable to a working farm than a reality star mansion.

This is a passionate project for Katie and we’re incredibly excited to add the original show to our summer line up.”
