Zamaray departs INSIGHT

Mariam Zamaray, CEO at Tern International and the head of the company’s INSIGHT all-UHD channel, has left the company, “by mutual consent”.
A statement from TERN said: “Mariam established TERN and its unique position with one of the first UHD channels available in the world today, with her unparalleled creativity, passion and drive. We thank her for all her hard work and wish her all the best with her future activities.”
Zamaray added in a personal note: “”It was an exceptional challenge. I was given a lot of support and opportunities within this company, but now that TERN is active and expanding, it’s time for me to look for new challenges.”
Rian Bester, COO of TERN, will take over responsibility as interim CEO, as the company continues to develop and extend its market reach across the globe.
The INSIGHT channel has expanded extremely rapidly, gaining extensive carriage on numerous UHD and HD platforms as well as via its OTT options.
