Baroness (Lucy) Neville-Rolfe has retained her responsibility for Intellectual Property following her promotion to Minister of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in the Government reorganisation of mid-July 2016.

She previously handled the brief as a Parliamentary Under-Secretary jointly with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the former Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, but confirmation of her continued involvement came following confirmation of the full list of ministerial responsibilities within the Business, Energy and Industrial StrategyBusiness, Energy and Industrial Strategy Department.

Her full title is Minister of State for Energy and Intellectual Property.
