France: Medici in 4K on Zive

SFR Media’s new VoD platform Zive – set to be rebranded as SFR Play by the end of 2016 – will launch TV series Medici: Masters of Florence in 4K on October 25th, and as its first original and exclusive TV content. The first two episodes will be available at launch.
The series will be available free of charge to SFR customers who own a 4K Power STB.
Zive has exclusive rights to the Franck Spotnitz-produced series starring Dustin Hoffman and Richard Madden, for France, Luxemburg and French-speaking Belgium by Zive. A second season is currently in development but has not been acquired by SFR yet.
SFR Play will become the primary distribution platform for all original films and TV series produced by Altice as it seeks to assert itself as a content creator.
