Woolston now CCO at Encompass

Barrie Woolston, formerly at Arqiva (as Commercial Director), has re-emerged as the Chief Commercial Officer at Encompass Digital Media. Their European HQ is in central London. Woolston position is a newly-created role at the business.
OTT and TV technology delivery and production specialists Encompass have studios and live production stages at their Atlanta headquarters, as well as in Minneapolis, Singapore and Stamford in the USA. Their client roster includes NBC-Universal, CBS, ESPN and A+E Networks.
Woolston will be responsible for leading all of the company’s global sales efforts. “Encompass understands that competition in today’s TV and media landscape is increasing as the number of new digital providers and digital uptake among users both escalate,” commented Woolston. “We continue to deliver innovative solutions that empower broadcasters and media companies to realign their strategies as modern viewing habits continue to shift.
