DMC appoints Beard as Commercial Director

Digital Media Centre, part of AMC Networks International, has appointed Mark Beard as Commercial Director. In this role, he will be leading the Sales, Marketing and Account Management activities, as part of the growth strategy of Digital Media Centre (DMC).

Beard has an extensive media and broadcasting background. Working within the broadcast industry for more than 30 years, he brings a wealth of experience, having held several leadership roles, including most recently within Ericsson. Whilst at Ericsson, he was Head of the UK region and worked closely on BBC, ITV and Channel4 accounts. Previously, Beard has worked on the London 2012 Olympics, Ascent Media, BBC and Globecast where he held various commercial and strategic development roles.

Raymond Lamphen, newly-appointed General Manager of DMC, welcomed Beard to the Senior Management team saying: “Mark joins Digital Media Centre as we develop the depth and breadth of our services to the European broadcast industry. Mark’s expertise will help position DMC to be able to be at the forefront of broadcast services for the foreseeable future and will help provide the best client services in the industry.”
