South Korean electronic giant LG is releasing its ‘talk of CES’ wallpaper TV displays to international markets.

The ‘Signature OLED W7’ units are so thin that they can mounted in a home just like wallpaper or a mirror. The 65” model is less than 3mm thick (2.75mm), and even when placed on its magnetic wall mount only protrudes 4mm from the wall.

As far as the US market is concerned the unit will retail at $7,999 (€7,422) although for that price mounting/installation is included. Although this fee will not cover any restoration of the wall if the consumer wants to completely hide the unit’s wires and connections.

The display comes with a Dolby Atmos soundbar, and its own connection cable in the form of a white ribbon connector. The soundbar also provides easy connectivity for 4K Blu-ray players, and other set-top boxes.
