Sky Italia launches kids mobile TV on demand

Sky Italia has launched Sky Kids, the first mobile TV on demand dedicated for children aged from two to 13 years.

Thanks to the new app, children can initially watch their favourite TV programmes from the Sky Italia platform on their tablets (later also on smartphones) even without an Internet connection.

According to the pay-TV operator, Sky Kids carries no advertising and offers both exclusive and quality content, combining fun with the need of parents to ensure safe use.

Mums and dads can easily check access to content, even differentiating the profiles of each child, so that only programmes suited to their age appear, and can also set the viewing and automatic shut-off time of the app.

Content is provided by Sky Italia and partners DeAgostini Editore (with DeAKids and DeAJunior); Disney (with Disney English, Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD); Turner (with Boomerang and Cartoon Network); Viacom (with Nick Jr, Nickelodeon and Teen Nick) and Fox Networks Group Italy (with Baby TV).

The Sky Kids app is free of charge for all subscribers of the Sky Famiglia package.
