Spain: Euskaltel launches catch-up service

Basque-country cable operator Euskaltel has launched a new service – Te lo perdiste (You lost it) – that allows subscribers to watch TV content previously broadcast by different TV channels over the preceding seven days.
To access the service, the subscriber must press the ‘Mirador’ button and select the channels for the service. The operator is also offering Replayteka, with over 6,000 free-of-charge titles, including TV series, films, documentaries, sports. Similarly, Euskaltel is also proposing Replay to watch from the start of the programme already on air.
Euskaltel currently has 270,333 pay TV subscribers in the Basque Country and Galicia, in the north of Spain.
