Fox Networks Group France renews confidence in Arkena for broadcast of HD channels

May 4, 2017

Fox Networks Group France has renewed its confidence in Arkena for the French broadcast of its National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild and Voyage HD channels.

The Group has chosen to re-entrust its playout to Arkena, a European specialist in managed services, thanks to its satisfaction with the service provided 24/7.

Arkena’s teams have operated the playout of Fox channels for the past ten years. This continuity of service as well as the skill and expertise when responding to technically specific demands from the Group’s channels have largely contributed to the renewal of the partnership for another 3 years.

“Thanks to Arkena, we can count on an excellent quality of service for the broadcast of our HD channels,” says Olivier Bramly, Fox Networks Group France Managing Director. “We also have full confidence in the ability of the teams to technically accompany us on ambitious operations, such as live broadcast with subtitles or marker insertion for national breaks.”

“We are proud to strengthen our relationship with Fox Networks Group France and to provide our expertise to develop its audience and its accessibility within the different packages,” said Jean-Paul Moço, Senior VP Broadcast at Arkena.

In France, the Voyage channel has 11.8 million subscribers, National Geographic channel 13.2 million, and Nat Geo Wild, the channel dedicated to animals and nature, 11 million subscriber households.
