UK transmission and facilities company Arqiva is expected to start its ‘far sale’ process this week with the issue of a Prospectus for potential buyers.

The Daily Telegraph newspaper, in a detailed report, says that bankers for Arqiva will issue the Prospectus in the next few days. Arqiva is responsible for transmitting much of the UK’s TV and radio broadcasts, and has a major footprint of cellular masts for mobile connectivity.

The newspaper also lists various players as having already expressed interest including Madrid-based Cellnex, and France’s TDF. CKI Holdings, owned by Li Ka-Shing is also mentioned, as are private-equity players KKR and 4M Investments.
