Arqiva bids by August

A report in Infrastructural Journal & Project Finance says that UK broadcasting, media and facilities company Arqiva, and up for sale, expects to see indicative bids to buy the company to be submitted “before August”.

It has been reported that bankers for Arqiva will issue a Prospectus shortly. Arqiva is responsible for transmitting much of the UK’s TV and radio broadcasts, and has a major footprint of cellular masts for mobile connectivity.

The Daily Telegraph newspaper has reported that various players as having already expressed interest including Barcelona-based Cellnex, and France’s TDF. CKI Holdings, owned by Li Ka-Shing is also mentioned, as are private-equity players KKR and 4M Investments.
