New Will and Grace to air on Israel’s Partner TV via Vubiquity

September 26, 2017

A decade after their unforgettable eight-season run, one of comedy’s most fabulous foursome is back, Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes reprise their infamous roles as Will, Grace, Karen and Jack.  The multi-Emmy award-winning Will & Grace originally aired in the US from 1998-2006.  The revival, which will launch in the US on September 28th, will also be available on Israel’s Partner TV through their collaboration with Vubiquity, and air soon after the US broadcast.

Vubiquity, a global provider of premium content services, has signed a deal with Partner Communications in Israel to power its new IPTV service.

Partner TV was recently launched, and offers about 40 linear channels, VoD content, and as part of the Android TV’s operating system capabilities, the service subscribers will be able to add content, games and music applications directly from Google Play.

The deal will see Partner TV introduce a complete entertainment package with a smart user interface that will cater to customer needs.

Vubiquity provides licensing of premium international content, content processing and localisation services to the new IPTV platform. Building upon the company’s existing experience in Israel launching VoD platforms and licensing award-winning, first-run content.

Vubiquity provides EST, TVoD and SVoD content to Partner TV, including early release EST, first run series and library programming from major Hollywood studios.

Adam Poulter, Managing Director of Vubiquity International, said: “We are proud to support Partner Communications in the launch of its new IPTV service. Consumers increasingly want to watch high quality, latest-release content wherever they want, whenever they want. Vubiquity is equipping operators to compete for customers in an increasingly competitive telecoms environment by helping them to meet their customer’s expectations.

“This deal builds on Vubiquity’s existing experience in Israel, and further establishes us as the first-choice content and VoD partner in emerging markets.”

Partner Communications: “We are delighted to bring an all-time fan favourite to the Israeli audience, and to be working with Vubiquity as we launch our new IPTV service. Working closely with VUBIQUITY on our VoD catalogue allows us to offer to Partner TV customers a rich and wide selection.”
