myCANAL UHD content for Apple TV 4K

The Canal + Group is partnering with Apple to offer 4K Ultra HD content on the Apple TV 4K with:
- Live events: the best match of every day of Ligue 1 with a new experience 4K Ultra HD
- Original Canal + productions in 4K Ultra HD
- A selection of films, series, documentaries in 4K Ultra HD
The most recent seasons of original productions Le Bureau des Légendes and Kaboul Kitchen are already available. The catalogue will be regularly updated with Versailles, The Young Pope, Jour Polaire and Les Guerriers de l’Ombre as well as new original productions and a selection of films and documentaries by the end of 2017. The Canal + UHD channel will be available from mid-October on the Apple TV 4K.
This offer is available at no extra charge for Canal subscribers with an Apple TV 4K, a compatible TV, the latest version of the myCANAL app and a broadband Internet connection (from 20Mbps).
The 4K Ultra HD offer will soon be extended for the iPad, MacBook and iMac. Programmes in 4K Ultra HD will also offer very high-quality Dolby Digital + 5.1 sound.
At the same time, the Canal + Group is continuing the deployment of Full HD quality, both live and on demand, across all compatible receivers and boxes, for channels and programmes that do not yet benefit from 4K Ultra HD.
The Canal + Group has teamed up with ATEME and Anevia to benefit from their expertise and to make Ultra HD programmes secure and broadcast live and on demand.
