Humax’s Sales Director, Rob Peacock, has been appointed to The DTG Council replacing Graham North as the Humax representative. The DTG Council is the governing body of the DTG, the UK’s unique self-funded collaboration centre for innovation in digital media technology.
Peacock became UK Sales Director at Humax in November and is responsible for the UK operator business, taking on the overall responsibility for UK retail sales and marketing. Peacock said: “It is a great honour to be asked to join The DTG Council at such a momentous time for television in the UK and across the world. I am looking forward to contributing to help shape the exciting and changing future of television alongside the diverse panel of industry experts. My focus at Humax is to drive business forward into new emerging market segments with smart products and improved customer experiences which I feel will be enriched by the developments at The DTG Council.”
Richard Lindsay-Davies, CEO of The DTG commented: “Rob Peacock brings with him a depth of industry experience which will be invaluable when it comes to innovating and revolutionising the television industry. We are very pleased to welcome Rob to The DTG Council and look forward to his contribution on behalf of Humax alongside our other Council Members including BBC, Sky and Dolby.
