Game of Thrones “most bingeable” show

January 5, 2018

Fantasy series Game of Thrones has been voted as the “most bingeable” TV boxset in a poll conducted by Samsung UK.

Second was AMC’s Breaking Bad, about a cancer-stricken teacher becoming a drug baron. British period drama Downton Abbey ranked third.

The poll of 2,000 adults also found 44 per cent now prefer to watch TV ‘on demand’. One in five watches more TV series than they did five years ago and regularly binges on boxsets.

Steve Mitchell, head of TV product management at Samsung UK, said: ‘There has been a radical change in how people watch TV and their favourite programmes. Whether through box sets or streaming, we all have an opportunity to watch whatever content we want at a time that’s convenient.’
