fuboTV to add AMC Networks’ content

March 2, 2018

fuboTV, one of the fastest-growing live streaming TV services in the US, and AMC Networks have announced a partnership that in the coming weeks will bring AMC Networks’ programming and brands to fuboTV subscribers, across multiple platforms.

AMC Networks’ channels – AMC, BBC America, Sundance, IFC and WE tv – will soon be included in the Fubo Premier package, available to new subscribers for $19.99 for the first month following a free, seven-day trial. BBC World News will later be made available to fuboTV subscribers as part of a pending premium package.

In addition, fuboTV will in the future make AMC Premiere available for fans seeking an ad-free option for watching their favourite AMC shows. AMC Premiere will be available to subscribers of Fubo Premier, on an add-on basis.

“fuboTV is fast-becoming a popular streaming option for viewers who want access to the best live sports and entertainment content available on any device and we are pleased to bring our popular, distinct and culturally relevant networks and streaming services to their line-up,” said Bob Broussard, President of Distribution for AMC Networks. “AMC Networks’ brands and content are highly sought after by consumers, who increasingly enjoy our shows, across multiple platforms.”

As part of the agreement, fuboTV subscribers will also have access to AMC Networks content via video-on-demand, as well as the ability to use fuboTV credentials to log into AMC Networks TV Everywhere apps and websites.

“We are excited to have AMC Networks – one of the industry’s most innovative and exciting media companies – as our newest strategic partner,” said fuboTV CFO Joel Armijo. “Not only will our subscribers soon have access to entertainment content that drives some of the biggest audiences on TV, we are also looking forward to building on our partnership in the days and weeks to come.”
