Sixty, the interactive TV company, has partnered with Vimond Media Solutions, an innovative online TV technology company, to provide interactive graphics capability to Vimond’s online video platform.
At the heart of this partnership, Vimond will integrate Sixty’s interactive TV solution, Ease Live, to provide new and simple ways to deliver visually compelling video broadcast user experiences. Through the adoption of Sixty’s rich, on-screen clickable graphics Ease Live technology, Vimond can enhance the immersive quality and interactivity it provides to broadcasters, services providers and online TV brands across all connected devices and online platforms.
“We are dedicated to finding new and creative ways for our customers to engage their audiences, incorporating a user-friendly and personalised interface that also offers complete control and flow over their online TV solution,” said Glenn S. Pedersen, CTO, Vimond Media Solutions. “Our cloud video platform forms the foundation of any video service and by integrating Sixty’s Ease Live solution into our platform, we are able to bring new and highly interactive on-air graphics and broadcast-quality video experiences to life. This will help us to further bridge the gap between linear and online TV at a time when consumers are increasingly demanding the freedom to customise the way they watch their content.”
Sixty’s Ease Live solution unifies the linear and online TV experience for broadcasters, providing a consistent brand and design while enabling on-air graphics to come to life by making them ‘viewer clickable’ across all devices. Ease Live can be used by any broadcast system or online video platform and integrates seamlessly into current workflows.
Kjetil Horneland, CEO, Sixty, said: “As fellow neighbours of the Norwegian Media Cluster in Media City Bergen, we have watched Vimond’s rapid trajectory up close and seen how it is continually transforming the broadcast and OTT space. By integrating our highly interactive Ease Live solution into Vimond’s specialist online video platform, we are enabling the further expansion, range and quality of unique user experiences it can deliver to its customers worldwide. We are delighted to collaborate with Vimond and to facilitate new immersive opportunities to explore, play, interact and communicate with TV content.”
