Registration Now Open For The 2018 Category Showcase & Innovation Forum

The British Association for Screen Entertainment, in conjunction with the Entertainment Retailers Association, is pleased to announce that registration for the 2018 Category Showcase & Innovation Forum, taking place at Picturehouse Central on July 4th, 2018 from 8am – 2pm, is now open.
The Category Showcase returns for 2018 to shine a light on the best and most anticipated feature film, children’s and TV content set to excite partners and consumers alike as thoughts turn to Q4 and beyond. As with previous years, the showcase has been timed to take full advantage of CineEurope, with the film expo providing the perfect launch pad for previously unseen and exclusive content. With some incredible titles already confirmed and conversations with members continuing apace, we can confidently promise an exciting and informative look at the very lifeblood of the industry. Attendees on the day will also be encouraged to approach the topic of retail innovation as the showcase segues into the Innovation Forum. This element of the event seeks to inform with insight and forward-thought from both within and outside the category. The forum is intended as both a tacit acknowledgment that the retail landscape continues to change at pace and a wholehearted endorsement of the kind of innovative thought either already being championed within the category or being primed for embrace in the future.
Speakers for the Innovation Forum will be announced over the coming weeks but, just as with the Category Showcase, if you have content or contributor ideas then we are very pleased to hear from you.
