beIN SPORTS and the Canal+ Group are launching the beIN SPORTS 1 4K channel which they say will let French football fans follow the major World Cup games in unmatched image quality.

Available throughout the tournament, from Thursday, June 14th to Sunday, July 15th, the beIN SPORTS 1 4K channel will offer 56 live matches, including all those involving the French national team, in 4K Ultra HD quality.

Available to Canal subscribers who take a package which includes beIN SPORTS, the channel will be accessible on channel 18, specially dedicated to major events broadcast in 4K UHD.

Subscribers will need the new Canal 4K Ultra UHD set-top box (satellite or OTT reception) or Apple TV 4K device.

In addition to the beIN SPORTS 1 4K channel, beIN SPORTS will be the only French broadcaster to offer all World Cup games.
