In its continued attempts to capture new subscribers, Telefónica’s pay-TV platform Movistar Plus has launched a free offer for its Premium package, valid until the end of the year.
The move comes as a response to Orange’s offer of all football at €22.90. Both are involved in a fight to gain 400,000 football subscribers who can no longer watch matches on Vodafone.
Under the promotion, current and new subscribers will be able to have access to the Premium package with all football and cinema and TV series for free till year end, and then a regular payment of €125 a month.
Subscribers will be also able to use the new smart WiFi router and the Nubico service (ebooks and magazines) for free for up to three months.
