Mediaset Spain wins FTA rights to Euro 2020

After its Russia World Cup FTA experience, Mediaset Spain has acquired exclusive FTA rights to the UEFA Euro 2020 national team football tournament, along with a package of matches played by overseas national teams.
Mediaset already covered the previous Euro 2016 and Euro 2012 tournaments.
With the agreement, the company now secures the 2020 special edition to be hosted across 12 different nations, including Spain in Bilbao’s San Mamés stadium.
The agreement also includes a package of 80 matches of foreign national teams, with a preferential choice of games, across the qualifying tournaments for Euro 2020 and the 2022 FIFAWorld Cup, as well as friendly games played during this period in the new Nations League tournament.
