Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment, UK to launch the POP App, a new on-demand app for kids featuring some of the best-known shows from SPT’s UK commercial kids channel POP.
Aimed at 7-11-year olds, the POP App is free for all connected PlayStation 4 devices and available to download from the PlayStation Store now. It provides on-demand content from POP and POP MAX, including an extensive catalogue of popular programme franchises, movies and first-run shows. The new service comes with instant access to titles such as Pokémon, Power Rangers, Lego Nexo Knights and more.
The POP App follows the launch of the successful POP Fun App which SPT debuted last year, giving more people access to POP and its wide selection of kids’ entertainment through television, tablet and mobile devices and now via PS4.
