ITV’s multiplex business, SDN, has named Ross Appleton as Managing Director. He takes up his post with immediate effect and will work closely broadcasters who want to access the UK’s 19 million DTT homes.

Immediately before joining ITV Ross was part of the strategy arm of Accenture, working on a variety a variety of media and telco companies. Before joining Accenture Ross spent four years at BT becoming Strategy Manager in 2009.
Ross said: “SDN is a crucial part of the DTT eco-system with a multitude of industry-wide stakeholders. I look forward to working closely with broadcaster partners, helping them to reach audiences on the most widely used TV platform in the UK.”
Ross replaces Tim Cadbury who is now Financial Director of ITV Commercial.
