Australian pay-TV operator Foxtel is now broadcasting the country’s summer cricket season in Ultra-HD, with all men’s international matches and selected KFC ‘Big Bash’ League matches being shown on a new dedicated 4K channel.
On Foxtel’s new 4K channel, viewers will be able to watch the 4K coverage using the new iQ4 set-top box, as long as they have a compatible 4K TV and are subscribed to Foxtel’s Sport and HD packages.
Customers who do not have a 4K TV can still watch Fox Cricket with a host of commentary, analysis and opinion, with the Foxtel from Telstra Sports package. The Entertainment + Sport + HD package, which includes both Fox Cricket and the Foxtel 4K channels, starts at A$39 per month over 12 months, for new Foxtel from Telstra customers.
