Hopster launches on Sling

December 7, 2018

Hopster, the preschool learning and entertainment experience, has launched on Sling TV, making the award-winning preschool service available to millions of Sling TV subscribers in the US.
The UK-based BAFTA-nominated service offers preschoolers and their families educational entertainment through a mix of media including kids TV shows, music and video books.
For a fee of $5 per month, Sling TV customers are now able to access hundreds of educational kids shows on their TV or on the go on a connected mobile or tablet. Current Sling TV customers can subscribe now within the Sling TV app on Roku, Amazon and Android devices, or visit sling.com/account to add Hopster to their subscription.
As the only Network specialising in educational children’s content, Hopster offers the youngest viewers fun learning opportunities and hand-picked videos that are selected to tie into a special early years curriculum.
By letting kids interact with different types of content – books, shows and songs – Hopster helps children discover areas such as creativity, managing emotions and understanding different types of relationships, as well as more traditional learning topics like phonics and numeracy.
Claire Hunter Gregson, Commercial Director at Hopster says: “We couldn’t be more excited about teaming up with Sling TV. Sling TV is America’s leading live TV streaming service, and we are thrilled to offer their customers our beloved content and are excited to help millions of preschoolers learn while they play.”
The launch on Sling TV closes a big year for Hopster that saw its slate of original animation picked up by Aardman for global distribution, the launch of a stand-alone pre-coding game, Coding Safari, and most recently a channel nomination at the Children’s BAFTA.
